Hookergate Artists Make A Statement in Newcastle

As part of their Applied GCSE course, sixteen Hookergate artists visited Newcastle to exhibit their work in a most unusual way.

Having developed a diverse and exciting graphic design project, the students created eye-catching posters which were used to explore the art of protest.

The students’ showmanship and vocal skills were used to great effect in a mock demonstration through the city centre, engaging the public and showing off the students’ high standard of work.
