Life Drawing at the University of Sunderland

The Art department has long had a strong working relationship with the School of Art and Design at the University of Sunderland. Many past students have successfully studied there and we are one of their main schools for recruitment.

As part of this on-going link our Year 12 ‘A’ Level students have just enjoyed a two day course in ‘Life Drawing’ at the university.

Programme Leader for Foundation Studies in Art and Design, Mike Collier, said he was amazed at the range of the work and the progress made over the two sessions. He felt all of the students produced very original work of a high quality and he hoped many of them would apply to the university next year.
