All of year nine took part in a fun day off site at the Safety Works project in Newcastle.

The project is set up as a series of street scenes where a variety of accidents have taken place. The pupils’ job was to work out what had happened and how to best solve the problems. Pupils learned all about first aid, fire prevention, safety in the home and got the chance to do the work of CSI investigators.
The day was led by a team of fire and ambulance officers who had all given up their free time to host the event.
