Brushing shoulders with the stars ........

On Sunday the 5th of October, two year 11 students were lucky enough to represent the Gateshead Whickham Leadership Academy, in their work of marshalling the BUPA Great North Run.

It was a long day for the girls but their efforts were rewarded as they got a chance to meet Olympic heroes Chris Hoy, Ellie Simmons and Rebecca Adlington.
