Fashion is rubbish

Year 11 BTEC students are really throwing themselves into their latest project 'FASHION IS RUBBISH', which recycles everyday used objects and turns them into eye catching catwalk outfits.

Pupils have used papers, plastics and other discarded materials to create their costumes.
Watch this space for a Rosie Burlison original that will be entered into the Gateshead Youth Council 'TRASHION SHOW' in November. Rosie will use left over artwork to create a very inventive dress design.

Asda chic couture

High Street labels

A Gothic inspired trench coat design

A prom dress that has style written all over it

A newspaper creation

A magazine corset and brown paper skirt
