Big Draw event at Bill Quay

As part of the National Big Draw events we were invited to attend a workshop at Bill Quay Farm run by the Northern Print Organisation.

Helen, from Northern Print, demonstrated dry point etching, and our party of fifteen year 12 artists produced prints after drawing various animals at the farm.
Despite being asked repeatedly to stay still the pigs, chickens and geese kept moving around making the drawing stage an unusual but interesting experience.
The prints produced were of a very high standard considering the whole process; from drawing to finished prints took less than an hour and a half.
Our thanks go to the people at Bill Quay and Northern Print.
