On Monday 19th October around 60 pupils from High Spen Primary School came down to Hookergate to take part in an Outdoor Adventure Festival.

Due to inclement weather it was necessary to change the venue to indoors.
There were four different activities for the children to take part in:
- Star orienteering (listening and responding to instructions)
- All aboard (communication and balance)
- Line up (communication, balance and observational skills)
- Human alphabet (co-operation and teamwork)
These all worked on improving the children's teamwork skills and making sure that they all worked together, each having a say in what the team should do to complete the challenges.
The day was a great success with the help of 6th form students and the work of Ms Needham.
