Emmaville visit

On Tuesday 25th May, six year 9 pupils and Mrs Heer visited Emmaville
Primary school to read The Gruffalo in French to a class of year 4 pupils.

While Mrs Heer read the story, Katie, Emily, Laura, Laura,
Danielle and Amie wore masks of each of the characters and read out
select lines. The year 4 pupils were asked to join in, repeating "
what's a gruffalo?!" in French ("C'est quoi, un gruffalo?").
Our pupils really enjoyed the experience and are excited about our next visit to
Emmaville on 15th June.
The group will be performing again on 14th July at Saltwell Park in Gateshead as part of an Authority Primary-Secondary event called 'Spinning a Yarn'. A special thanks to Laura Webber for designing the masks!!
Year 9 pupils: Laura Webber, Laura Ramsey, Katie Fannin, Amie Lind, Emily Hopps, Danielle Nesbitt.
